SAP PP Expert Consultant
12+Month Contract

Client is is looking for an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) Expert to join the Digital Technology ERP team in Montréal, Canada. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving SAP PP implementations and enhancements across Client’s industrial and manufacturing operations. You will collaborate closely with global business and IT stakeholders to optimize planning, scheduling, and manufacturing execution processes using SAP S/4HANA. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP PP solutions across discrete, repetitive, or process manufacturing environments.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP S/4HANA PP system solutions.
  • Configure SAP PP modules including Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Work Centers, Routings, Bill of Materials (BOM), Production Orders, and Capacity Planning.
  • Ensure seamless integration of PP with other SAP modules like MM, SD, WM, and QM.
  • Drive global SAP rollouts and provide post-implementation support across GE manufacturing sites.
  • Develop functional specifications for custom reports, enhancements, and interfaces.
  • Perform data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), and user training in collaboration with business teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within the SAP PP space in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with GE’s global quality and audit standards.
  • Support continuous improvement, automation, and digital factory initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP configuration and support.
  • At least 1 full-cycle S/4HANA implementation experience.
  • Deep understanding of production planning, manufacturing execution, and shop floor control processes.
  • Experience with MRP, Demand Management, Capacity Planning, and Production Order Execution.
  • Strong integration knowledge with SAP MM, WM, SD, FI/CO, and QM.
  • Fluent in English (French proficiency is a plus, but not mandatory).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAP S/4HANA Certification in Production Planning.
  • Experience in aerospace, energy, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
  • Familiarity with SAP MES, Digital Manufacturing, or integration with shop floor systems.
  • Knowledge of Agile/SAFe methodologies.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French (preferred for communication in Québec region).
