Job summary

High Cliff Partners Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP IS-U Device Management Lead for a 12-month engagement, fully remote from British Columbia.

The candidate will oversee Meter Inventory, Meter Testing, Meter Reads, and Read Validations within IS-U, and manage AMI MDUS integration and data sync services with SAP. Experience with CT/PT tracking and DM integrations (RFGen, Itron MDMS, Itron Collection Engine) is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP IS-U device management processes (Meter Inventory, Meter Testing, Meter Reads, Read Validations).
• Experience integrating SAP with AMI MDUS and data sync services.
• Familiarity with CT/PT tracking in SAP and DM integrations with external systems (RFGen, Itron MDMS, Itron Collection Engine).

Responsibilities

• Manage Meter Inventory within ISU processes and ensure asset availability.
• Support Meter Testing and Meter Reads, including validations for data accuracy.
• Administer AMI integration with SAP, including MDUS integration and data sync services.
• Configure SAP data sync to enable exchange between AMI systems and SAP via AMI services.
• Track CT/PTs within SAP to support accurate metering and billing.
• Integrate DM in SAP with RFGen, Itron MDMS and Itron Collection Engine.
• Handle Temperature files and Meter read files for timely data processing.

Job description

Our British Columbia based client is seeking an experienced SAP IS-U Device Management Lead to join their project immediately and will run for 12 months, with possibility of an extension.

The ideal candidate should have experience with the following ISU business processes: Meter Inventory Management, Meter Testing, Meter Reads, Read Validations, and AMI. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with SAP standard out-of-the-box SAP AMI MDUS Integration, knowledge of the SAP data sync feature for AMI to exchange information using AMI services, experience with CT/PTs tracking in SAP, and DM (Device Management) Integration experience with the following: RFGen, Itron MDMS, Itron Collection Engine, Temperature file, and Meter read file.

This will be a fully remote work setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Meter Inventory within ISU business processes to ensure accurate tracking and availability of metering assets.
• Support Meter Testing and Meter Reads processes, including Read Validations, to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Administer and support AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) integration with SAP, including MDUS Integration and data sync services.
• Configure and maintain the SAP data sync feature to enable reliable information exchange between AMI systems and SAP using AMI services.
• Track and manage CT/PTs (Current Transformers/Potential Transformers) within SAP to support accurate metering and billing processes.
• Integrate DM (Device Management) systems with SAP, including RFGen, Itron MDMS, and Itron Collection Engine.
• Manage and process Temperature files and Meter read files to support accurate and timely meter data handling.
