About the job SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Lead

Software International (SI) supplies technical talent to a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 100/500/1000 companies to small and mid-sized organizations in Canada/US. We are currently hiring for a SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Lead for our global SAP consulting client.

Type: Contract

Duration: 5 months to start

Rate Range: $100-120/hr C2C approx but there is flexibility for higher rate for the right candidate

Location: Hybrid - Toronto, ON

Project Description:

The customer is a long-time SAP client currently running S/4HANA 1709. They have decided to embark on a new greenfield SAP RISE transformation program. SAP services will deliver the following functional scope items over a 66-week project timeline:

• Utilize Enterprise Management Layer (EML) as a reference for fit-to-standard workshops
• Employ SAP Activate methodology, Cloud ALM, and SAP Signavio as key project tools

Project location is Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The functional scope includes:

• Global Trade Services (GTS) Compliance Management, BP Screening for SPL, Legal control (licensee checks), Embargo, Product classification (HTS, Control Class, etc.)
• Sales Order (SO), Outbound Delivery (OBD), Purchase Order (PO), Inbound Delivery (IBD) Compliance checks for SPL, licensee checks, and embargo
• Upload of data from data providers (SPL, HTS, Duty rates, etc.)
• Customs Management, including Imports Management and necessary declarations filing (Self or Broker interface), Export Management, and country-specific customs processes
• Duty calculations for imports, country of origin determination (preference management), self-filing, and broker integration
• Special Customs Procedures (Intrastat) based on scope countries, including EU Bonded Warehouse and other specific procedures
