Job description

Our manufacturing client is seeking an experienced SAP Functional IBP / Forecast and Planning Expert to join their project for a 6-month contract starting in May 2025, with a good chance for extension. This role involves supporting our client's COE / AMS operations, with the ideal candidate having extensive IBP configuration, master data governance, and cross-functional experience collaborating between planning and execution systems. The position focuses on configuring IBP and optimizing end-to-end Forecast to Plan processes within IBP, with integration to SAP S / 4HANA.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead IBP System Configuration.
• Configure and optimize Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, and Inventory Optimizer modules.
• Design Key Figures, Time Profiles, and Planning Views to meet business requirements.
• Implement Forecast Models, Outlier Correction, and Statistical Forecasting.
• Manage S / 4HANA Integration.
• Maintain bidirectional data flows between IBP and S / 4HANA.
• Resolve integration issues for master / transactional data (e.g., sales history, planned orders).
• Ensure data consistency across planning and execution systems.
• Own Master Data Governance.
• Define planning-specific master data standards (product hierarchies, attributes).
• Collaborate with data teams to troubleshoot data quality issues.
• Document data flow dependencies between systems.
• Drive Process Improvement.
• Align IBP configurations with business planning requirements.
• Optimize S&OP workflows for cross-functional alignment.
• Provide Tier 3 support and user training for AMS teams.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
