Job Title : SAP Functional Consulting Specialist

Client : City of Toronto

Work Mode : Hybrid (Minimum 2 days / week onsite at Metro Hall, 55 John Street, Toronto)

Start Date : August 11, 2025

Project Duration : 6 Months

Hours per day : 7

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in large-scale SAP projects within government or large private sector organizations
• Strong expertise in SAP S / 4HANA : Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable, Project Systems, and Funds Management
• Hands-on configuration experience in the modules listed above
• Minimum 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations (preferably public sector)
• Experience in hypercare support post go-live
• Strong project management knowledge (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative)
• Proficient in SAP test methodologies and tools
• Strong process management and stakeholder communication skills

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience in Asset Retirement Obligation, Treasury & Risk Management, SAP Advanced Financial Closing, and Grants Management
• SAP Solution Manager - Change Request knowledge
• Public sector project experience with S / 4HANA
• Strategic planning and critical thinking capabilities

Certifications

SAP FI / CO Certification preferred
