Location: Onsite 3 days per week – Montreal, QC or Oakville, ON
Duration: 6-month contract

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP Functional Analyst to support the configuration and delivery of Forecast to Planning (FTP) processes within SAP IBP. In this role, you’ll work closely with business stakeholders and SAP teams to turn complex requirements into scalable, reliable SAP solutions. This position offers the opportunity to take a leadership role in IBP configuration, while actively supporting integration and implementation initiatives across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the functional expert for end-to-end IBP processes, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, and Inventory Optimization.
  • Configure complex components in SAP IBP, including:
    • Key Figure calculations
    • Application Jobs
    • Time Profiles and Levels
    • S&OP Profiles
    • Forecast Models and Time-Series Analysis
    • Outlier Corrections
    • Planning Views
    • Rule-Based Master Data Maintenance
    • Custom Tables, Attributes, and Cost Models for the Optimizer
  • Support master data users and integration teams by explaining data dependencies, integration logic, and data flow between IBP, S/4HANA, and third-party systems.
  • Collaborate with CI-DS and integration teams to ensure successful data exchanges and monitor IBP process flows.
  • Debug and troubleshoot IBP issues by reviewing logs, identifying root causes, and collaborating with AMS and other SAP workstreams to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Lead the technical configuration of IBP solutions, in partnership with cross-functional SAP and business teams.
  • Manage IBP-related incidents and change requests, ensuring compliance with SLAs and communicating status, resolution plans, and impacts to stakeholders.
  • Maintain compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures defined by the SAP Center of Excellence (CoE).
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for internal IT teams, including development, infrastructure, PMO, testing, and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of professional SAP functional experience, including:
    • 5+ years of SAP IBP experience
    • Participation in at least one full lifecycle IBP implementation
  • Proven hands-on expertise in IBP configuration across all major modules (Demand, Supply, S&OP, Inventory).
  • SAP IBP certification required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead configuration efforts while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Clear, proactive communication skills and strong documentation practices.
  • Experience with technical project management.
  • Industry experience in manufacturing is highly desirable.
