Position : SAP Finance Process & Data Architecture Business Analyst

Type : Contract

Duration : April 2025 - April 2027

We are seeking a Data Architecture Business Analyst to support the Finance team on the business side (not IT) of an SAP S / 4 HANA implementation project.

Role Overview

This position serves as a translator between business and IT, combining finance expertise with SAP system experience. The ideal candidate will have business process experience along with skills in functional analysis, data mapping / migration, and testing.

Since the business team is not technically SAP-savvy, this role will support and facilitate the business in :

Storyboarding and process visualization

Gathering and documenting functional & technical requirements

Developing business cases

Data mapping and migration

Drafting and executing SI testing plans

Skills & Experience :

Finance & Business Process Expertise

Hands-on experience with finance processes (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Controlling)

Strong business analysis (BA) skills, including real-time process design and visualization (Visio or similar tools)

Ability to create clear, structured documentation

Data Expertise

Experience with data mapping and migration for finance systems

Understanding of data flows, validation, and reporting requirements

Soft Skills

Strong communication and facilitation skills

Ability to bridge the gap between business users and IT
