Job summary

Accenture is seeking an SAP Finance specialist to lead large-scale SAP FI transformations for Canadian clients. You will design and implement SAP FI solutions, including GL, AR, AP, PS and AA, while guiding data governance and conversion activities.

Travel to client sites is expected; the role requires 5+ years of SAP FI experience, leadership in a Global Delivery module, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP FI experience including GL, AR, AP, PS and AA.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA transformations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Strategically define how financial data will be stored, consumed and integrated across systems.
• Lead design and implementation of data governance, predictive modeling and data visualization.
• Drive transformation programs in a global delivery environment.
• Coordinate with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver SAP solutions.
• Manage workstreams, documentation and stakeholder buy-in throughout engagements.
• Tweak methods and configurations to meet client requirements.

You are: A transformation maven with the skills to help clients meet the challenges of digitization. Your superpower? Using your know-how to solve clients’ most complex business problems to help their companies do more. You’re as comfortable working in teams and leading projects as you are diving into the details of workstreams and configuring SAP solutions. And you’re up for traveling regularly to client sites.

• The work: Strategically define how data will be stored, consumed, integrated and managed by different data entities and systems.
• Analyze, design and or implement data design and best practices through technology solutions. Aligned with data governance, predictive modeling, and or data visualization.
• Use your business smarts to kick-start transformation programs, whether domain- or platform-led
• Work in a team where you wear lots of hats – interacting with clients, managing workstreams, collaborating with other teams – and where you may need to be in charge
• Run the workstream and/or project activities you’ve been given
• Interact with all workstreams – technical, reports, conversion, change management, project management and more.
• Tweak current methods, tools and procedures to create solutions that meet clients’ needs.
• Check business requirements to find configuration solutions
• Keep a record of requirements, solutions and impacts, alternatives and final decisions

Here’s what you need:

• Atleast 5+ years experience in SAP FI including GL, AR, AP, PS and AA
• Atleast 2 years experience with S/4 Hana
• Atleast 1 year experience managing teams in a Global Delivery module
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Ability to act as a Functional Solution Architect within the functional area, providing high-level design expertise.
• Extensive experience in SAP S/4 transformations and a track record of successful project implementations.
• Proven capability in defining SAP Finance functional roadmaps and strategies for clients.
• Experience in leading business process reengineering efforts to optimize finance-related workflows and enhance process efficiency.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at various levels, including C-suite executives, to present functional strategies and gain buy-in

• You know how SAP’s business development process works and you can help clients understand how SAP will help their company do more
