Job Description & Summary

A career within SAP Consulting services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients maximise the value of their SAP investment with offerings that address sales, finance, supply chain, engineering, and human capital. We provide comprehensive consulting, system integration and implementation services across multiple SAP applications, products and technologies. Simply put, we focus on delivering business led, technology enabled change for our clients including industry specific enterprise resource planning and the latest in mobile, analytics and cloud solutions.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As an SAP Finance Consultant, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Develop strategic client relationships while providing high quality work across multiple client projects as a functional finance solution architect.
2. Responsible for leading client and PwC teams in the design and implementation of SAP FICO and related finance modules.
3. Lead and facilitate design sessions with the client as well as leading the team through the development and approval of the project deliverables. Familiarity with the SAP Activate methodology is beneficial.
4. Lead and provide advice to clients on leading practices to manage finance related processes.
5. Oversee functional teams to drive solution design and implementation of SAP FICO.
6. Proven leader with in-depth knowledge of Finance and Controlling business functions and SAP functionality to drive development of client offerings and end-to-end transformation projects.
7. Build solid and collaborative relationships with team members, foster a productive team environment.
8. Responsible for solution strategy and project delivery as a SAP functional stream lead for finance.
9. Work with the project management team to manage and report status, risks, and issues.
10. Working with the other teams (functional, technical, reporting, training) to align on solution design and development and the completion of other project deliverables.
11. Identify and address client needs: developing and sustaining deep client relationships using networking, negotiation and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities; preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials; and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection.
12. Contribute to teams to generate a vision, establish direction and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation.

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

1. Strong prior experience in managing client relationships while providing high quality work.
2. Previous experience in leading a functional team of consultants through all phases of an implementation project.
3. Strong prior experience in leading implementation of SAP FICO in the following required functional areas:

• Financial Accounting: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, Treasury.
• Controlling: Overhead Management, Project Accounting, Product Costing, Margin Analysis.
• Integration with other SAP modules: Procurement, Sales, Production, Transportation Management, Warehouse Management.
• Beneficial:
• Group Reporting and Consolidation.
• Financial Planning and Analysis.
• Asset Accounting.
