Job Description:

Need someone who has implemented EWM at a greenfield site (greenfield = no/minimal) systems at the site before EWM.

Things to keep in mind for future candidates:

• Should have spent time on site delivering for 5-7 years
• Need to have participated or lead solution design discussions.
• Able to demonstrate ability to navigate complex design
• Ability to communicate/understand clearly and concisely considering role will be off shore and deemed critical to the success of our project.

Focus on people who can speak to having been hands on implementing EWM at a warehouse. The more experience they have doing that the better. Doesn’t have to be a leadership role but it’s a plus if they have that experience. What’s key is that they understand how to take business requirements and convert them into design/system configuration/solution in EWM.

SAP EWM Consultant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a techno-functional Business Systems Analyst with a distinct focus on SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM) to support production operations and project implementations. This role requires bridging business needs with technical solutions, aimed at enhancing warehouse operations efficiency and addressing critical issues effectively. With a split focus on production support (60%) and project implementation (40%), the successful candidate will ensure seamless warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead troubleshooting and resolution of EWM queue errors including shipping, serialization, and labeling.

Analyze incidents to identify root causes and coordinate with developers for solutions.

Provide essential onsite support for urgent issues covering through mid-day Central Time (CST).

Gather and analyze business requirements to draft functional specifications when necessary

Collaborate with Solution Architects and development teams to convert business needs into technical designs.

Must Have Skills:

Proficient in SAP EWM with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience including implementation and production support.

Hands-on experience in EWM queues, serialization/labeling, and functional documentation.

Domain Experience Required:

Prior experience in high volume distribution centers handling diversified products is preferred.

**Techno-functional expertise with the ability to debug ABAP code is desirable
