- Align release planning to SAP Activate phases (Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run) with clear entry/exit criteria and quality gates.
- Lead cross‑workstream coordination (Functional, Basis, Security, Integration, Data, WRICEF) for transport bundles and dependencies.
- Define and enforce transport management strategy (naming, sequencing, retrofit, emergency transports) using Solution Manager ChaRM or SAP Cloud ALM.

- Coordinate system freezes, environment refreshes, and triage for defects; ensure appropriate backout and rollback plans.
- Own cutover orchestration: task list, resource plan, checkpoints, go/no‑go, command center runbooks, and communication plan.
- Ensure compliance (SOX, GDPR) and auditability: segregation of duties (SoD), traceability, evidence, and transport approvals.
- Drive test alignment: SIT/UAT/performance/security test windows, defect burn‑down, and release gating with QA leads.
- Monitor KPIs (on‑time releases, change failure rate, mean time to recover, defect leakage) and publish dashboards.
- Implement DevOps practices for SAP (CI/CD for ABAP/UI5 via gCTS/ATC checks, automation of transport deployments where feasible).
