PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

  • Responsible for the overall Change Management process.
  • Prevent technical incidents though proper change assessment and risk mitigation
  • Define and enforce policies and procedures to ensure that all activities designed to implement changes in the IT environment are as per the standards.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Drive the implementation of industry best practices (ITIL) to CP change processes
  • Collaborate with various process owners to develop, improve and implement standards, procedures and guidelines
  • Mentor and educate internal and external resources on the Change Management process
  • Ensure broad visibility of any key system changes across CP and to all stakeholders
  • Provide support in internal and external audits and reviews
  • Identify trends through reporting
  • Provide direct support and coaching to all levels of managers and supervisors for change management practices
  • Support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans
  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities, including the change review and assessment meetings.
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
  • Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics; perform post implementation reviews when required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in Computer Science or IT college
  • Minimum 10 years of IT experience, with practical experience in change management or similar position
  • Knowledge about and at best experience with project management
  • Demonstrated knowledge in various technologies - previous experience with SAP product architecture and some / all SAP modules (ECC, BW, CRM, EM, TM, NWGW)
  • Facilitation & negotiation skills – ability to influence people from different levels of the organization
  • Available for on call rotation to ensure 7x24x365 coverage

NICE TO HAVE:

  • ITIL certification
  • Knowledge or prior experience with HP Solution Manager and SAP ChaRM is a plus
  • Previous experience with Kepner-Tregoe methodology is preferred
