Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years in software development with 3+ years in SAP BTP.

• Proficient in CDS modelling, OData v4, and SAPUI5/Fiori Elements.
• Hands-on with SAP Integration Suite: Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh.
• Security knowledge: XSUAA and destinations.
• Git-based development workflows and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Work across the SAP BTP stack including apps, APIs, integrations, and UI.
• Develop CAP-based applications and services.
• Build CDS data models and OData services.
• Develop side-by-side SAP extensions.
• Create APIs/services for SAP and non-SAP integration.
• Develop integrations using SAP Integration Suite.
• Design integration flows, mappings and API policies.
• Support event-driven integration with Event Mesh.
• Develop SAPUI5 and Fiori apps.
• Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews.
• Support CI/CD and deployment pipelines; prepare docs.
• Assist SIT/UAT/cutover/hypercare as needed.

Job description

Our Canadian based client is seeking an experienced SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Full-Stack & Integration Developer to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate should have 6+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years specifically with SAP BTP with strong expertise in CAP using Node.js or Java, alongside proficiency in CDS data modelling, OData v4, and SAPUI5/Fiori Elements. Technical skills should also include JavaScript and/or TypeScript, SQL with SAP HANA Cloud, and a solid command of the SAP Integration Suite, covering Cloud Integration, API Management, and Event Mesh or event-driven architecture. A deep understanding of BTP security concepts such as XSUAA and destinations is essential, as is experience with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD pipelines. This will be a primarily remote role with expected occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities:
