Job summary

Talents LGS in Montreal, QC is seeking an experienced SAP BTP/ABAP/CPI Lead Developer to drive ABAP development, BTP integration, and UI5/Fiori delivery across on-premise and cloud SAP environments.

The role requires hands-on expertise in ABAP, SAP BTP, and CPI, with 6–10+ years of SAP experience, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a bilingual French-English setting.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10+ years of combined SAP experience in ABAP, BTP, and CPI.
• Familiarity with PI/PO concepts and BTP development tools (Business Application Studio, Web IDE).
• Experience with RICEFs, IDocs, enhancements, and cloud/on-premise integration scenarios.
• Knowledge of Retail, SD, or MM domains is desirable.
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to independently manage tasks across multiple SAP areas.
• Bilingual French and English, collaboration with teams outside Quebec.

• Support ABAP development including ABAP OO, enhancements (BADIs, user exits), ALV reports, forms, OData services, CDS views, and performance optimization.
• Work with ABAP on SAP BTP, including RAP-based development.
• Develop and enhance UI5/Fiori applications using views, controllers, models, routing, and data binding.
• Build and maintain integration flows using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh).
• Contribute to PI/PO to BTP Integration Suite migration activities.
• Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems using SOAP, REST, HTTP, and other adapters.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to transform requirements into concrete solutions and support testing and deployment phases.

SAP BTP/ABAP/CPI Lead Developer

Skills:

We are looking for several SAP developers with hands-on experience in ABAP development, application development on SAP BTP, as well as with SAP Integration Suite (CPI). The ideal candidate has already worked in these three areas and can support both custom development and integration scenarios in on-premise and cloud SAP environments.
