Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. in Mississauga is seeking an SAP BusinessObjects Administrator to support large enterprise deployments. You will install, configure, upgrade, and maintain BO environments, manage user access, and ensure platform security and reliability.

Responsibilities include incident handling, report scheduling, and coordinating migrations and patching with cross-functional teams to keep BI services available for stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience administering SAP BusinessObjects environments.
• Strong knowledge of WebI, CMS/CMC, and BO platform components.
• Proficiency with database connectivity (Oracle/SQL Server/Teradata).
• Experience with server administration across Linux/Unix and Windows.
• Ability to troubleshoot reports, authentication, and connectivity issues.

Responsibilities

• Administer SAP BusinessObjects environments including installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Manage user access, roles, groups, folders, and security permissions; monitor platform health.
• Coordinate migrations, patch deployments, and report distribution processes.

• Configure and manage report scheduling, publication, and distribution processes.
• Troubleshoot platform, reporting, authentication, and connectivity issues.
• Perform CMS repository maintenance, backup, and recovery activities.
• Optimize BO server performance and resource utilization.
• Support integration with databases, LDAP, Active Directory, and SSO solutions.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for report deployment and platform support.
• Manage production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Prepare and maintain operational documentation, support procedures, and runbooks.
• Ensure platform compliance with security, audit, and governance requirements.
• Participate in on-call support and production release activities.

Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per annum
