SAP BASIS Administrator

Job Description:

Essential Job Functions

• SAP BASIS knowledge and understanding of SAP technologies and methodologies.
• Providing BASIS support for projects involving HANA and S/4HANA.
• Ability to troubleshoot/analyze and resolve technical problems.
• Ability to adapt and function effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment while working under deadlines.
• Build credible relationships with peers and clients and continuous professional learning of SAP products.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge effectively.

Basic Qualifications

• SAP Basis and Security Authentication – Strong Knowledge and Hands-on experience in Technical Planning, Installations, Upgrades, OS/DB Migrations, Unicode Conversions, S/4HANA.
• 5 years plus Experience in SAP Basis administration, including experience in standard SAP procedures such as client copies, database refreshes, patching, transport management, upgrades, and performance tuning of database and SAP applications.
• Install, configure, maintain (upgrade), and support SAP systems, including but not limited to Solution Manager, ECC, BW, SRM, CRM, APO, Suite on Hana.
• Experience with Performance tuning problem analysis for Oracle/Hana databases and SAP instances.
• Work with SAP and Solution Manager to resolve problems. Configure Start, Default, and Instance Profiles.
• Provide daily support to the production support team with any technical and performance problems.
• Hana 2.0 HA, Oracle 19 Data guard a plus.
• Speak both English and French.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar degree.
• +4 years of previous experience working across a range of implementations, upgrades, and migration projects.
• SAP Certifications in S/4HANA, OS/DB Migration, NetWeaver, and SAP HANA preferred.
• Experience of working in large landscapes/environments/customers.
• Bilingual Preferred (French & English).
