Job description

Our client is a leading Professional Services Organization. They require an SAP ABAP Manager. Please note that up to 30% travel may be required. This is a Permanent position, NOT a contract.

• Experience managing small to mid size development teams of 2-10 developers
• SAP ABAP or Netweaver XI development, plus custom development experience such as JAVA or .Net
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with remote teams
• Experience in trouble shooting, performance tuning, writing technical specifications from functional design specifications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to support pre-sales and perform development estimates
• Experience with other programming languages, such as C, C++, Java, XML, HTML and UNIX Shell
• Experience with middleware tools such as Microsoft Biztalk, Mercator and WMQ

• Experience in SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, PS is beneficial
• Post-implementation support experience
• Bachelor's Degree with additional business certification is highly preferred
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Experience in working with remote teams
• Ability to handle multiple clients and multiple tasks with confidence
• Ability to develop project estimates and work plans
• Ability to complete tasks within budget and timelines
• Ability to follow development processes, standards, and guidelines
• Knowledge or experience with CMM is beneficial NetWeaver XIand/or SAP ABAP certification
