Job summary

TriOptus in Toronto, ON is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP specialist for a 9+ month engagement with hybrid onsite work (3 days on site). You will lead ABAP development for HCM (PA, OM, Payroll, Time Management) and support ECC HCM upgrades or S/4HANA conversions.

Bring 8+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP experience, strong SPAU/SPDD remediation skills, and the ability to coordinate offshore ABAP teams. The project requires delivering within fixed timelines and coordinating SIT/UAT cycles.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on SAP ABAP experience with 5+ years in SAP HCM.
• ECC HCM upgrades, migrations, or S/4HANA conversions experience.
• SPAU/SPDD analysis and code remediation expertise.
• Coordinate offshore ABAP development teams.
• Payroll-related custom developments and ABAP integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead ABAP development for large-scale transformation projects.
• Coordinate onshore/offshore delivery teams and timelines.
• Remediate integrations between HCM, SuccessFactors, Finance, and external systems.
• Support SIT, UAT, Cutover and Hypercare activities.

Job description

Location: Toronto, ON (3 Days Onsite - Hybrid)

Duration: 9+ months (with possible extension)

Pay Range: $80-$100/hr. CAD (Depending upon the experience)

Job Description:-

• 8+ years hands-on SAP ABAP experience with at least 5+ years supporting SAP HCM (PA, OM, Payroll, Time Management).


• Demonstrated experience supporting ECC HCM upgrades, migrations, or S/4HANAconversion programs.


• Strong hands-on expertise in SPAU/SPDD analysis, adjustment, and Code remediation(ATC, SYCM, simplification items, S/4HANA compatibility) during upgrade/conversion projects.


• Experience coordinating and leading offshore ABAP development teams.


• Strong technical knowledge of:


• Payroll-related custom developments


• Integration - Idoc and proxy config from ABAP side


• Previous involvement in SIT, UAT, Parallel Payroll, Cutover, and Hypercare activities.


• Able to analyze and remediate impacted integrations between HCM, SuccessFactors, Finance, and external systems.


• Senior individual contributor capable of working independently while coordinating onshore/offshore delivery teams.


• Comfortable working within fixed project timelines, testing cycles, and cutover milestones in a large-scale transformation program.
