Job summary

Eden Valley Poultry Incorporated is seeking a 2nd Shift Sanitation Worker to join our team. Reporting to the Sanitation Supervisor, you will sanitize all production equipment and assist with the cleaning process, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Previous sanitation work is an asset.

  • Ability to work 11:00 PM– 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and address manual and automated equipment in the sanitation process as required.
  • Perform functions as designated by Eden Valley Poultry Inc.'s instruction while operating specified equipment in a safe manner.
  • Follow all sanitation procedures as instructed.
  • Recognizing areas of defect in the cleaning process and taking appropriate actions to rectify them.
  • Perform all work to organizational standards to ensure result meets quality standards.
  • Determine and report product and equipment malfunctions to the appropriate authority including your supervisor.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures and designated organizational as well as provincial and federal safety guidelines.
  • Ensure all equipment is operated according to equipment manufacturers instructions and safety guidelines are followed.
  • Participate in educational and training opportunities applicable to the position.
  • Other duties shall be assigned as required.

Job description

Eden Valley Poultry Incorporated is seeking a 2nd Shift Sanitation Worker to join our Team. Reporting to the Sanitation Supervisor. Will be responsible for sanitizing of all production and any production related equipment that the operator is assigned to at Eden Valley Poultry. This individual may be responsible for the operation of equipment to facilitate the cleaning process. The sanitation operator will ensure all work performed adheres to all organizational standards as well as safety regulations and guidelines. This is a labour-intensive position requiring individuals to perform repetitive tasks and stand for long periods of time.
