Job Location: 5345 275 St, Langley Twp, BC V4W 3X8

Wage: $22/hr + 2.00/hr Night Shift Premium + Bonus

Shift: Flexibility to work in day or night shifts and on weekends

In a typical day you will:

• Maintain the cleanliness of the production floor and surrounding areas
• Use cleaning equipment (scrapers, brushes, pads, vacuums, scrub machines, compressed air, power washers) to clean production floors, ceilings, walls of the bakery (warehouse, freezer, refrigerators, packing, and production areas)
• Be responsible for lockout, dismantling, cleaning, and sanitizing of production machines as required, in accordance with the master sanitation schedule and standard operating procedures
• Adhere to cleaning procedures in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices Standards and Health and Safety guidelines
• Collect waste and recyclable materials from the production area and dispose of them properly
• Assist in cleaning any major spills of liquid or dry product as needed
• Perform specialized cleaning procedures as per the master sanitation schedule
• Comply with all applicable legislative, food safety, health and safety, and environmental policies and procedures

To be successful as a sanitation worker, you will:

• Have a passion for bread and baked goods!
• Possess previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food manufacturing
• Have experience in sanitation, ideally in industrial sanitation
• Be comfortable working with sanitizing agents and chemicals
• Have strong attention to detail and meet cleanliness standards
