Adecco is actively seeking a full-time Sanitation Worker to join our client's team in Belleville, ON. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant production environment. You'll be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment and facility areas, documenting tasks, and following safety and hygiene protocols. Ideal for detail-oriented individuals who take pride in creating a safe and efficient workplace, this position offers stability and a key role in supporting high-quality food production.

Pay Rate : $43,200 / year.

Job type : Permanent | Full-time Responsibilities :

Regular cleaning through sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and garbage removal

Disassembling, sanitizing, and reassembling food processing equipment

Cleaning bathrooms and ensuring supplies (soap, towels, toilet paper) are stocked

Completing daily recordkeeping as per the 'Master Cleaning Schedule'

Liaising with departments to uphold sanitation compliance

Following Material Safety Data Sheets (SDS) guidelines for cleaning product safety

Addressing weather conditions (snow removal, de-icing) as needed

Operating floor-cleaning machines (e.g., riding sweepers, scrubbers)

Ensuring all documentation and data collection related to sanitation are accurate

Troubleshooting sanitation issues and providing line sanitation support

Adhering to all company policies and legal safety requirements

Supporting the company's Integrated Management Systems (Production, Quality, Food Safety, GMP) Requirements :

Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

High school diploma or GED

Strong understanding of hygiene and Standard Operating Procedures

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Experience in an industrial / manufacturing setting is an asset

Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with various departments
