Role

The purpose of this job is to perform janitorial duties in the warehouse to maintain a clean work environment and ensure compliance with all customer, internal, and legislative audits.

Role Responsibilities

1. Perform cleaning functions in the warehouse.
2. Accurately record information on SYSCO and external documents.
3. Provide customer service both externally and internally.
4. Assist in inventory and purchase of janitorial supplies as requested.
5. Ensure compliance with all Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including Sysco’s Food Safety Program, specific to the role.
6. Assist the Food Safety Program Manager in maintaining compliance to Sysco’s Food Safety Program, supporting third-party certification and customer requirements.
7. Work safely with minimal environmental impact, reporting hazards, incidents, and spills immediately.
8. Understand the importance of safety for oneself and colleagues, and speak out about hazards.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
