Job description

As a Sanitation Operator III, you will ensure our facilities uphold the highest safety, quality, and cleanliness standards. Reporting to the Sanitation Supervisor, you will complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks critical to food safety and manufacturing efficiency. If you are dependable and detail-oriented with mechanical aptitude, we welcome diverse candidates to apply for this essential role supporting our close-knit team. Join us to maintain the sanitation schedule and cleanliness of our state-of-the-art production floors.

Responsibilities :

  • Complete all daily and weekly assigned tasks as indicated in the sanitation schedule and according to SSOP’s
  • Complete all assigned tasks specific to the weekly production line clean down
  • Utilize cleaning equipment in a safe and responsible manner, reporting any damaged or unsafe equipment to the team leader, supervisor, or manager
  • Complete extra duties as assigned in preparation for plant tours etc
  • Maintain current and accurate records of completed tasks in a neat and orderly manner
  • Report any impediments or safety concerns to the Supervisor or Manage
  • Coordinate with the other sanitation operators to ensure that the whole team completes all their tasks
  • Adhering to all health and safety requirements as trained
  • Maintain the required hygiene, safety, and quality standards on the production floor
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma / G.E.D is required
  • Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment is preferred
  • Previous experience in a cleaning role would be an asset
  • Must have strong mechanical aptitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work rotating continental shift schedule- 2 weeks days and 2 weeks night (7-7)
