An established industry player is seeking a Sanitation Manager to oversee cleaning and sanitation processes in their plant. This role involves leading a team, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and driving continuous improvement in sanitation practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with a commitment to quality and safety. Reporting to the Operations Leader, the Sanitation Manager will be responsible for controlling the cleaning and sanitation of equipment in the plant. They will guide and direct both sanitation supervisors and hourly employees and will audit the effectiveness of all sanitation activity on a daily basis. This position is fully committed to the adoption and implementation of Food Safety and Quality. This includes the provision of adequate resources (time, people and financial), effective communication, systems review, and actions taken to effect continual improvement.
