The role manages the sanitation program, trains staff, coordinates the sanitation department, and ensures compliance with GMPs, OHSA, and HACCP.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• Minimum 5 years Team Lead/Supervisor experience.
• Experience in food manufacturing sanitation and/or cleaning and/or chemical handling.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Proficient computer skills for management of documents and management programs.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to support job-related duties.
• Ability for lifting, climbing, bending etc.

Responsibilities

• Manages sanitation program including documentation and training.
• Coordinate and schedule the activities of the sanitation department.
• Manages sanitation chemical program including training.
• Communicate with day shift about issues and concerns.
• Assist with maintenance as it pertains to the sanitation department.
• Manage work to meet all regulatory standards (SFCR, FMSA, GFSI, etc.).
• Participate on HACCP Team.
• Ensure compliance with Pre-Requisite Programs including GMPs.
• Ensure compliance with OHSA.
• Manual cleaning as required.
• Perform other related duties as required.
