Sanitation Associate - Sunday to Thursday - 10 : 00pm - 6 : 30am - $24 hourly + $1.50 hourly night shift premium

Golden West Baking is a manufacturer of English muffin and bun products located on Anacis Island. Established in 1984, the facility supplies products for foodservice and retail, and is part of CH Guenther and Son, a company with over 150 years of history. Responsibilities :

• Ensure sanitation and cleanliness of the bakery to meet AIB (American Institute of Baking) standards.
• Conduct daily walk-around inspections.
• Perform sanitation duties as directed by the Sanitation Manager, following the Preventative Sanitation program.
• Participate in monthly self-inspections and safety / health inspections.
• Coordinate sanitation activities with production and maintenance teams.
• Assist in scheduling cleaning tasks for production staff on down days.
• Manage in-house pest control and liaise with pest control contractors.
• Prepare the bakery for AIB and VIP visits.
• Assist with non-sanitation tasks when needed (e.g., moving trays, shipping, emergency line support).
• Report equipment issues on the Mechanical Defect sheet and to supervisors.
• Maintain organization of tools and storage areas.
• Follow all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) for food processing.
• Work collaboratively with team members.

Sunday to Thursday, 10 : 00pm - 6 : 30am

Compensation :

24 per hour + $1.50 night shift premium

• Exposure to noise, dirt, dust, fumes, darkness, and seasonal weather extremes.
• Adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
• Potential exposure to mechanical, forklift, chemical, and electrical hazards.
• Must have good sight, hearing, communication skills, and professional etiquette.
• Use of personal protective equipment provided by CH Guenther and Son.
