Job description

Inovata Foods isn’t your average Food Manufacturing company. We offer the stability of a large company with the feel of a small family business. We have the privilege of partnering with many of North America’s largest retailers. This position reports directly to Inovata Foods’ Sanitation Manager.

Inovata Foods Corp. is seeking a full-time Sanitation Associate to join us in bringing families and friends together through wholesome, convenient meals. The role is based at our Tillsonburg, Ontario facility. We are a major producer of wholesome control brand frozen meals for many of North America’s largest retailers.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist the supervisor with tasks including maintaining cleanliness of the production, boxing, and warehouse facilities.
  • Follow written Cleaning Protocols to ensure proper cleaning of equipment.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the lunchroom, washrooms, and locker facilities.
  • Ensure proper use of all available equipment.
  • Adhere to all food safety programs, including GMPs, to produce high-quality products.
  • Contribute to a safe and clean environment for all employees.
  • Report any damaged equipment resulting from sanitation practices.
  • Accurately complete paperwork related to HACCP and SQF programs for the equipment cleaned.
  • Maintain good employee relations through ongoing communication.
  • Collaborate with fellow Sanitation staff to promote teamwork and efficiency.
  • Work with the Sanitation Supervisor to ensure environmental programs are followed and results are monitored.
  • Perform post-sanitation inspections to ensure equipment cleanliness before production begins.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Working Conditions:
