JOB SCHEDULE : Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:00pm (37.5 hours per week)

HOURLY PAY : CAD $ 20.00 per hour

Job Summary

Reporting to the Sanitation Supervisor, the Sanitation Associate will be responsible for performing tasks related to general cleaning of the facility and production-related cleaning and sanitizing activities. Functions of the job include:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing of cultivation and processing rooms
  • Cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and materials
  • Cleaning administrative areas including offices, lunchrooms, and the production floor
  • Completing necessary documentation related to task completion
  • Restocking materials and supplies as needed
  • Completing required training, including any required quality assurance and health and safety training
  • Report any equipment deficiencies
  • Assisting in grow, trim, harvest, sanitation or other departments as needed
  • Perform other duties as may be required by management


Qualifications

  • Ability to understand and follow documented procedures
  • Ability to follow direction and carry out tasks independently
  • Great attention to detail & ability to work cleanly and methodically
  • Able to stand and or sit for extended periods of time, lift objects on a regular basis, and perform daily repetitive tasks
  • Safe and reliable transportation
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Close visual focus required


GENERAL

  • Participate in ongoing training as directed by Management
  • Comply with work instructions, standard operating procedures, training programs, and administrative responsibilities

  • Each employee is responsible to participate in Occupational Health and Safety initiatives and report safety problems to personnel with authority to initiative corrective actions
