Description:

ATCO Frontec is seeking a Salad Sandwich Maker with frontier spirit to support our camp in the Yukon, Canada.

Rotation:

12-hour shifts

Rotation is subject to change based on operational requirements and camp location: 28 days on and 14 days off.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in day-to-day operations of the kitchen.
2. Operate all equipment safely.
3. Attend daily meetings with the Chef to discuss sandwich and/or salad preparation and production strategy.
4. Maintain the daily preparation, handling, storage, rotation, and serving of all sandwiches/salads required to meet kitchen demands.
5. Inspect the equipment and food on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
6. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. The successful candidate must hold a valid food safety certificate.
2. 1 year of experience as Sandwich/Salad Maker in the hotel/restaurant industry.
3. Excellent people skills.
4. Able to work effectively and efficiently with little supervision.
5. Ability to prioritize and multitask.
6. Works well under pressure.
