Sandwich Maker - West Red Lake Gold Project

Join our team as a Sandwich Maker at the West Red Lake Gold Project, working in a remote camp setting with provided accommodations and meals. This role involves preparing a variety of sandwiches and specialty items, ensuring presentation and quality standards are met, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing sandwiches according to recipes and menus, including specialty options
  • Rotating food to minimize waste and spoilage
  • Monitoring daily setup and presentation of sandwiches
  • Maintaining hygiene and sanitation standards in the workspace
  • Inspecting cold food for appearance and appeal
  • Managing inventory levels of sandwich varieties

Qualifications:

  • Experience in large-scale cooking, camp settings, or hotels is advantageous
  • Previous mass-production sandwich-making experience preferred
  • Food Safe certification is a plus
  • Ability to commit to a 2-week on/2-week off rotation
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks
