Overview

The Sandwich Artist greets and serves guests, prepares products, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, and also handles payments. Exceptional guest service is a major component of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and inform them of the products available.
  • Provide food that meets Cree Sub’s specifications and high-quality standards.
  • Responsible for making Cree Subs and Hot dogs as per the set standard recipes.
  • Adheres to AGLC and Casino Policy while serving Beers.
  • Responsible for washing dishes.
  • Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up.
  • Uses Point of Sale system / cash register to record the order and compute the amount of the bill. Collecting payment from guests and making change.
  • To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to stand / walk for 8 hours / day.
  • Must be able to lift / carry up to 30 lbs.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not necessary.
  • AGLC – Proserve / Protect preferred.
  • Basic math skills are needed to handle cash and balance daily float.
  • Proper customer service skills as this position is in direct contact with customers.
  • Reading, writing, speaking, and listening are important for this position to effectively communicate with customers.

The schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, overnight, weekends and holidays.
