Sandbox Early Learning is seeking F/T Early Childhood Educators

Position Info:

Position: Early Childhood Educator

Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $20.00~$23.00/hour (depending on experience)

Number of Positions: 4

Benefits: 10 days paid vacation per year, Extended Medical Benefits, Dental and Vision Care Benefits

Job Duties:

1. Establish and develop childcare programs aimed at supporting children’s overall development in physical, cognitive, emotional, and social aspects.
2. Assess children’s skills, interests, and needs, and engage in conversations about their development or challenges with parents and colleagues.
3. Utilize specialized educational materials and resources to implement age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity among children.
4. Provide training and assistance to children in acquiring self-care skills such as using the restroom, eating, and dressing independently.
5. Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
6. Monitor children closely and communicate any changes in behavior to supervisors, parents, and guardians.

Job Requirements:

1. Education: College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required.
2. Certificate: First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate and E.C.E Certificate.
3. Experience: Experience is an asset.
