Overview

Artemis Gold is a well-financed, growth-oriented gold development company with a strong financial capacity aimed at creating shareholder value through the identification, acquisition, and development of gold properties in mining-friendly jurisdictions. The Company's current focus is the Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver. The Sampler is responsible for collecting control samples from an RC drill and preparing samples for laboratory analysis. The geology team is responsible for defining ore and waste zones within the deposit and estimating ore metal grades.

Location: Blackwater Mine site

Schedule: Two (2) Weeks On – Two (2) Weeks Off Rotation

Responsibilities

• Collect representative samples from drill core, RC chips, underground faces, or surface locations as directed by the geology team.
• Accurately label, bag, and prepare samples for transport and laboratory submission.
• Maintain detailed sampling records and ensure data integrity.
• Assist with sample dispatch, storage, and chain-of-custody documentation.
• Support geologists and logging staff with drill site and core yard activities.
• Follow strict safety and environmental procedures in all tasks.
• Perform general field and yard duties to ensure clean, organized, and efficient work areas.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in geology, mining, or earth sciences an asset).
• Previous sampling, field, or mining experience preferred but not required - training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and remote environments.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting, bending, and working on your feet for extended periods.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Valid Class 5 drivers licence.
• Ability to work at a remote location camp on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation
• Good understanding and working knowledge of the applicable legislation and regulations for mines.
• Comfortable working and living in close quarters with the team
• Ability to maintain high levels of performance over 12-hour shift
• Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs throughout a work shift
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team effort as well as individually.
