Job description

Intertek (BML) is a commercial laboratory specializing in the recovery of base and precious metals from raw mineralization. We are seeking dedicated technicians to join our team.

Responsibilities

1. Receive, prepare, and ship samples for laboratory testing as requested by clients.
2. Prepare and complete work orders for delivery or pickup (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
3. Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
4. Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
5. Complete shipping logs and update system inventory.
6. Report any discrepancies.
7. Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
8. Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment preventively.
9. Follow quality standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
10. Crush and screen drill core and bulk rock samples.
11. Split material into charges for testing.
12. Weigh, screen, and pulverize test products.
13. Prepare products for assay.
14. Perform general maintenance of equipment.
15. Keep the laboratory in a clean condition.

Job Requirements

• Ability to lift 25kg.
• Experience in shipping.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Forklift license is an asset.

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.

Compensation

The hourly wage ranges from $20.00 to $28.00, based on skills and experience. Employees are also eligible for benefits such as vacation, sick days, and medical coverage.
