Job Description

Intertek (BML) is a commercial laboratory specializing in the recovery of base and precious metals from raw mineralization. We are seeking a student to join our team for a 4-month period from May to August.

General Responsibilities

Receive, prepare, and ship samples to conduct laboratory testing as requested by clients.

Specific Responsibilities

1. Prepare and complete work orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
2. Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
3. Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
4. Complete shipping logs and update system inventory.
5. Report any discrepancies.
6. Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
7. Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment preventively.
8. Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
9. Crush and screen drill core and bulk rock samples.
10. Split material into charges for testing.
11. Weigh, screen, and/or pulverize test products.
12. Prepare products for assay.
13. Perform general maintenance of equipment.
14. Keep the laboratory in a clean condition.

Job Requirements
