Sample Entry Coordinator - Eurofins Experchem Laboratories, Inc.

This position is responsible for efficient sample management, from entry to distribution, and supporting the creation and maintenance of templates and records. It requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Log all incoming parcels and samples.
  • Coordinate with customers and lab staff to ensure accurate sample logging.
  • Verify client specifications and tests related to samples.
  • Communicate with clients for clarifications and additional info.
  • Ensure samples comply with methodologies and SOPs.
  • Manage sample stability and documentation.
  • Distribute samples to relevant departments.
  • Archive completed samples.
  • Assist with creating/updating templates in eLIMS-BPT.
  • Update account, contact, and pricing info in systems.
  • Create or request new test codes.
  • Maintain organized records of daily tasks.
  • Scan methods and standardizations.
  • Ensure protocol compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of compendia resources (USP, EP, BP).
  • Understanding of analytical chemistry and testing.
  • Knowledge of GMP and ICH guidelines.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effective communication for sample inquiries.
  • Ability to work independently.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 1-3 years in pharmaceutical/cosmetic/natural health products industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science or related field.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada.
Education:
  • B.Sc. in Chemistry or related field preferred; a diploma is acceptable.
  • Strong background in Chemistry or Microbiology.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience:
  • 1-2 years lab environment experience.
  • Ability to work efficiently at a fast pace with minimal supervision.
