Qualifications

• Lead by example and resolve challenges with professionalism.
• Bring out the best in others through training and guidance on business and technical matters; keep salon bottom line in mind.
• Current cosmetology or barber license as required by provincial regulations.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Tech-savvy and able to perform administrative tasks (closing out the system).
• Able to read, write, and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Be the heartbeat of the salon, managing all operations and providing leadership and tools for success.
• Lead by example to help staff increase clientele and profitability; teach the ins and outs of the business.
• Provide all hair care services offered and ensure the highest quality for each guest.
• Coach and mentor employees to maintain a positive work environment.
• Hire, train, and handle conflicts and client complaints with ease and professionalism.
