Job summary

iA Financial Group in Canada seeks a Salesforce Release Manager to orchestrate production releases and manage the Salesforce development and deployment ecosystem. You will collaborate with typical stakeholders to ensure stable, secure deployments while driving continuous improvement in DevOps practices.

The role spans Quebec City, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver with a hybrid work model and competitive benefits. You will help maintain governance, traceability, and quality across releases.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform including metadata, Apex, standard objects, APIs, and Platform Events.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, Jenkins or equivalents.
• Strong understanding of Git, version control, and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with multi-org Salesforce environments and Governor Limits.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes and cloud-based environments.
• Experience with Visual Studio Code, Salesforce CLI (sf-cli), and Git Flow principles.
• Knowledge of architecture models, design patterns, and UML modeling.
• Interest in Salesforce integrations (Einstein Activity Capture, Content Server, MuleSoft) and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute Salesforce releases (major, minor, hotfixes).
• Manage Salesforce environments (sandboxes, integration, production), deployments, and version control.
• Collaborate with development, QA, business analysts, product owners, and architects to align deliveries with priorities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, coordinating, and executing Salesforce releases (major, minor, and hotfixes) while ensuring a stable, controlled, and secure deployment process.
• Managing Salesforce environments (sandboxes, integration, and production), deployments, version control, and change traceability.
• Collaborating closely with development teams, quality assurance specialists, business analysts, product owners, and architects to align deliveries with business priorities.
• Identifying deployment risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and ensuring the quality and compliance of releases.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, release governance, and delivery processes while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

• Has several years of experience in release management, DevOps, or a similar role within a Salesforce environment.

Required Qualifications and Knowledge

College diploma or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Interest in Salesforce integrations, including Einstein Activity Capture, Content Server, and MuleSoft.
• Experience using artificial intelligence tools, including Copilot, is considered an asset.
