Salesforce Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst

Location: Montreal ideally, or remote in Canada

Contract: Long term

Hourly Rate: 50-60/H

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience in QA, with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce testing.
2. Proficiency with Jira and Zephyr for test management and defect tracking.
3. Strong knowledge of various testing types including functional, regression, smoke, UAT, performance, and penetration testing.
4. Understanding of Salesforce architecture, workflows, and common configurations.

Your new role

As a Salesforce QA Analyst, you will develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts across Salesforce modules such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom components. You will perform various testing types including functional, regression, smoke, UAT, performance, and security testing. Using tools like Jira and Zephyr, you will track defects, coordinate testing cycles, and collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners within Agile/Scrum environments to ensure high-quality Salesforce solutions.

What you'll need to succeed

1. 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 1–2 years focused on Salesforce testing
2. Proficiency with Jira and Zephyr for test management and defect tracking
3. Strong knowledge of testing methodologies: functional, regression, smoke, UAT, performance, and penetration testing
4. Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, workflows, and common configurations
5. Experience working in Agile development teams
6. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
7. Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder) are preferred
8. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
