As the Salesforce Application Lead (Domain Architect) you will take ownership of our Salesforce platform from an operational architectural and support perspective. You are an individual with deep Salesforce knowledge who can drive platform stability guide development best practices and function as a technical liaison across all Salesforce related projects.

A Day in the Life

Technical Guidance & Advisory

  • Serve as a technical lead and subject matter expert for Salesforce best practices design patterns and development methodologies
  • Conduct thorough code and configuration reviews for work delivered by internal developers admins and external vendors ensuring best practices conformance such as Apex governor limits and scalability
  • Mentor admin teams fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration
  • Provide handson technical guidance and support to our team of developers encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Guide the adoption of Salesforce standards in coding documentation testing and deployment
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce trends and industry changes to ensure compliance and future readiness
  • Guide and coordinate the development team to ensure timely and highquality delivery
  • Architect and implement tailored Salesforce solutions that meet our business needs

Handson Development & Implementation

  • Design and develop and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) Visualforce and other Salesforce technologies
  • Implement integrations with thirdparty applications APIs using REST and SOAP web services and experience with platform events / GraphQL
  • Continuously optimize and upgrade existing code to improve performance maintainability and scalability

Solution Design & Documentation

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to design and create design documents technical specifications and architectural blueprints
  • Ensure proper documentation of technical processes configurations and system architecture

Change Management

  • Managing and coordinating Salesforce releases cycles overseeing deployment schedules ensuring successful deployments
  • Advocate for DevOps practices and spearhead the setup of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) pipelines using GitHub and DevOps platforms like Gearset

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

  • Interact with business stakeholders daily to gather and understand requirements
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions that align with Salesforce best practices
  • Provide regular updates on project progress risks and technical challenges
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver integrated solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or related field (or 78 years equivalent work experience)
  • 6 yearsof experience working with Salesforce with proven expertise in administration configuration and development
  • 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Technical Lead in an enterprise environment leading development teams and overseeing project delivery
  • Proven expertise with Salesforce integrations including REST / SOAP APIs middleware platforms and thirdparty applications
  • Expert knowledge with APEX (classes triggers and web services) VisualForce Salesforce APIs SOQL Salesforce data model custom objects governor limits workflows and configuration
  • Prior experience managingDevOps processesfor Salesforce (e.g. CI / CD tools like Copado Gearset and / or Git)
  • Experience conductingcode reviewsand mentoring development / admin teams
  • Experience withsupport operations incident management and vendor coordination
  • Salesforce certifications required :
  • Application Architect Nice to have)
  • System Architect Nice to have)
  • Advanced Admin or related
  • Certified Technical Architect
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture data model and platform capabilities (Sales Cloud Service Cloud Marketing Cloud)
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform governance security and release management
  • Understand industry practices to support user functions better and suggest technical improvements to existing workflows
  • Knowledge of Apex Visualforce Lightning Components and other Salesforce development tools an asset
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Software proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Strong communication and coordination skills able to work with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders
  • Experience working in multivendor environments or overseeing offshore teams
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies and tools (Jira Confluence)

The hiring base salary range for this position is $99200 to $136400 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individuals knowledge skills experience equity with other team members and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
