On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Salesforce Administrator to join our Client's team on a contract basis. This role is Remote and the Client is based in Vancouver, BC.
Summary of the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to support a large-scale Core CRM implementation and broader enterprise CRM initiatives. The successful candidate will perform configuration-heavy work, evaluate departmental use cases, and provide ongoing platform support, helping to shape strategic Salesforce adoption across the organization.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Configure Salesforce features such as objects, fields, flows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.
- Translate functional requirements into platform configurations using standard tools and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and QA in agile sprints.
- Support the full delivery cycle including sprint planning, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Monitor platform health and enforce data security and documentation standards.
Core Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a CRM Administrator.
- Over 2 years in a Salesforce IT team of 4-5+ members.
- At least 1 year of experience as the primary Salesforce Administrator in a production sustainment environment.
- Certified Salesforce Administrator and Advanced Administrator.
- Proven ability to deploy third-party applications and manage traceability and issue tracking tools.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Education Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or multi-cloud Salesforce implementations.
- Experience in higher education or public sector Salesforce projects.
- Marketing Cloud Administrator certification.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and quality assurance best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Terms: This is an 8-month contract position, fully remote, with no onsite obligations. Candidates must be available to work in Pacific Time. The successful candidate will be required to complete reference checks prior to an offer.
