Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented, system-savvy Salesforce Administrator to join our team and support the integrity, functionality, and user experience of our data systems. Reporting to the Director of Technology and Social Impact, the Administrator will lead the ongoing configuration, optimization, and maintenance of our Salesforce platform. In addition to Salesforce, the Administrator will also provide secondary administrative support for other internal systems from a Quality Assurance perspective, ensuring all platforms comply with agency data policies and privacy regulations. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a system-oriented mindset grounded in data integrity and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform, ensuring functionality, usability, and alignment with program needs.
  • Identify and troubleshoot system issues and inefficiencies; analyze root causes and propose sustainable solutions.
  • Collaborate with teams to gather requirements, configure system features, and implement improvements that support user workflows and agency objectives.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support data analysis and evidence-informed decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal data collection policies and privacy regulations.
  • Develop user documentation and deliver training to enhance staff understanding and adoption of systems.
  • Monitor and evaluate system performance, implementing improvements to optimize usability and productivity.
  • Provide support for other internal systems (outside of Salesforce), serving as a representative of the Quality Assurance team to:
    • Support configuration and administration as needed.
    • Ensure data collection aligns with agency standards.
    • Verify compliance with privacy and information management policies
Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in Salesforce administration and/or data analysis
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a system-thinking approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Experience with data management, reporting, and privacy regulations.
  • Ability to understand cross-functional workflows and balance technical solutions with program needs.

Additional Assets

  • Salesforce Administrator or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certifications or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting or administering other internal systems (e.g., case management, reporting tools).
  • Understanding of data governance, information security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit or social service sector operations is an asset.
