Job summary

Match Retail seeks a Sales Team Lead to represent Nespresso within multiple Costco locations in St. Albert. This on-site role drives sales performance, mentors Coffee Sales Advisors, and ensures flawless execution of the Nespresso Roadshow program.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong coaching and communications skills, capable of engaging customers and modeling best sales practices. Requires travel 2 weeks, a vehicle, and flexibility across days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of retail sales or supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with mobile reporting apps and Microsoft Office.
• Food Handler Certification is required.
• Access to a reliable vehicle for travel between Costco locations every 2 weeks.
• Full availability Monday through Sunday.

Position Overview

Match Retail is seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-driven Sales Team Lead to represent Nespresso within multiple Costco locations. In this elevated leadership role, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, coaching and mentoring Coffee Sales Advisors, and ensuring the successful execution of the Nespresso Roadshow program.

As a hands-on leader, you will lead from the front by actively engaging customers, demonstrating products, and supporting your team in achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate is a natural coach with strong sales experience, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for developing others while delivering outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Coffee Sales Advisors to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Provide ongoing mentorship, feedback, and performance coaching to support team development and success.
• Lead by example through active customer engagement, product demonstrations, and sales generation.
• Monitor team performance and identify opportunities to improve results and customer interactions.
• Ensure consistent execution of Nespresso brand standards, promotional activities, and Costco Roadshow expectations.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
• Assist with onboarding and training new team members as required.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of Nespresso products, promotions, and competitive offerings.
• Ensure kiosk displays remain clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Partner with Match Retail leadership to communicate field insights, challenges, and opportunities.
• Support program reporting and operational requirements as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1-2 years of retail sales or supervisor experience with strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership abilities.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with mobile reporting applications and Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout scheduled shifts.
• Experience managing schedules, reporting, and field execution is considered an asset.
• Access to a reliable vehicle is required, as travel between Costco warehouse locations within the assigned territory required every 2 weeks.
• Food Handler Certification is required.
• Full availability between Monday through Sunday.
