COBS Bread in Canada is seeking a supervisory role to lead a small team in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving bakery sales. You will use proven sales approaches to promote our fresh, high-quality products and support merchandising and marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, stocking and campaign preparation, and training new staff while collaborating with management to ensure efficiency and cleanliness across the bakery.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year Supervisory Experience.
• Retail experience and POS handling is a strong asset.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor and reliable team player.

Responsibilities:

• Work part as a small team, providing an exceptional customer experience, and getting to know your customers and meet their bakery needs.
• Use proven sales techniques to see our fresh high quality product.
• Be responsible for merchandising product and executing marketing campaigns.
• Work alongside team member to keep the bakery clean, and assist with production as needed.
• Guide team to achieve sales goals ensuring the bakery is well merchandised and clean.
• Stock ordering, ensuring everything is organized and well maintained.
• Training new staff, prepare for new campaigns and work with management to ensure efficiency.

Skills Required:

• You are someone who takes pride in their work, positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
• You are reliable, self-motivated, team player who is approachable and likes working with people.
• Relevant retail experience and experience in handling point of sale transactions is a strong asset.
• Minimum 1 year Supervisory Experience.

Physical Requirement:

• Continuous standing/walking for all tasks with constant use of both hands.
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 7.5kg, reaching below shoulder level, bending and turning.
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 22kg, pushing, pulling, crouching, bending and reaching above shoulder level.
• Starting wage is $20.00

Our hours are Sunday to Thursday 7:30am to 6:30pm; Friday and Saturday 7:30am to 8:30pm. Some adjustments during holidays. Priority to those with more open availability.
