What is the opportunity?

As a Sales Support Representative, Life Insurance, you will act as a point of contact with brokers of Life Insurance policies. You will handle each broker’s inquiry with high priority to ensure they receive fast and effective service. Your role will include providing superior sales support and service to brokers to achieve regional sales targets and contribute to Sales Consultant’s action plans.

What will you do?

  • Initiate and respond to calls from producers, providing product and administrative support, education, and training on quotations, contracting, application processes, product information, and RBC systems.
  • Manage all requirements of the new business process from quoting to application submission, and assist Sales Consultants in analyzing business blocks and identifying upselling opportunities.
  • Support marketing activities for Senior Sales Consultants, assisting with revenue generation strategies specific to each MGA (Managing General Agent).
  • Resolve customer inquiries and handle complex issues appropriately.
  • Establish relationships with key broker staff, assist in new producer setup, including proactive calling and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to provide seamless service to brokers.
  • Participate in call campaigns as needed.
  • Train brokers and their teams on our systems and tools to enhance their sales capabilities.

Must-have

  • Bilingual in English and French, as you will serve clients and partners across Canada.
  • Strong written skills in both English and French.
  • Professional customer service skills, with the ability to listen, establish rapport, and find solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and with diverse teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills, initiative, and proactivity.
  • Strong negotiation, impact, influence, and analytical thinking skills.

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge or experience in the Insurance industry and/or Life Insurance.
  • LLQP License is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and quick learner of new systems.
