Purpose of the Role
- Work directly with sales support stakeholders and key customers to understand and interpret customer needs and product details, including image manipulation.
- Support graphic design initiatives in Marketing department and client-facing programs.
Qualifications
- Graphic Design training and knowledge for print and/or physical media.
- General knowledge of production printing and signage (offset, digital, wide format/signage) and workflow processes. Detail-oriented with the ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with teammates and clients.
- Understanding of customer relationship and service best practices.
- Effective written communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills.
- Presentation skills in online and in-person environments.
- Highly detail-oriented, task-focused, and self-motivated.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
- Degree/diploma in Graphic Design or demonstrated design capabilities through a strong portfolio.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Team player with the ability to report to and delegate from multiple stakeholders.
- Prompt, reliable attendance and professional appearance.
- College or University graduate.
- French proficiency is an asset.
Key Accountabilities
Customer Service
- Set goals and develop action plans to achieve them.
- Assist with large project management, including direct shipping to clients, distributions, and kitting.
- Coordinate information, samples, proofs, and pricing via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
- Enter orders for print and signage products.
- Prepare informal and formal quotes and assist with special proposals.
- Coordinate pricing from various sources, ensuring proper margins and striving to increase them based on market conditions.
- Manage sample production and approval processes.
- Coordinate dynamic graphical templates and activities with outside vendors.
- Ensure effective communication between clients and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with online meetings and demonstrations.
- Maintain product information, pricing, and production details by customer and product.
- Participate in project success evaluations and sales reporting.
- Review open order reports to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment.
Operations / Website Development
- Set goals and maintain task lists.
- Assist with administrative tasks, onboarding, and development of client projects and branded websites.
- Maintain customer websites from order generation to final payment.
- Use Adobe Suite to work with images for branded websites.
- Learn and operate our CMS for website development and editing.
- Maintain project documents according to best practices and policies.
- Create goals to keep projects on schedule, solve problems, and follow up through all customer cycle stages.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients as needed to support sales and strengthen relationships.
- Perform other graphic design projects as assigned.
