THE ROLE

As a Shift Supervisor, you provide retail services to a unique client base - members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and in assisting them, you are helping your community. You deal with customer concerns or complaints to ensure customer satisfaction and authorize refunds, voids, and returns. You hold keys, safe combinations, and access codes, and open and close the store as required. You supervise employees.

The Shift Supervisor may also provide a variety of other retail services, including: regular retail services, dry cleaning, lottery services, self-serve gas services, and postal services. You will operate Point of Sales systems, the debit/credit machine, and maintain a float. You may take and prepare food and beverage orders and prepare takeout food, while ensuring cleanliness of food service and eating areas.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience

Food Handling Certification, as required
