Job Overview

Location: Langley, BC

Salary: $35.00 per hour (30 hours per week)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (Day, Evening, Weekend)

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Responsibilities

• Assign sales workers to duties
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
• Teach interest or professional development courses
• Authorize return of merchandise
• Establish work schedules
• Sell merchandise
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
• Manage cash
• Conduct performance reviews

Supervision

• More than 20 people
• Staff in various areas of responsibility

Requirements

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Outlook

Area of Work Experience: Tourism

Security and Safety
