Regional President of Large Motors & Generators


Your role and responsibilities


In this role, you will be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, aligning with the division strategy. You will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable growth in orders, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will identify and develop new sales opportunities. The work model for this role is: #LI - Remote. This position contributes to the Motion Large Motors & Generators Division in the US and primarily involves:

  1. Selling products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets while ensuring a positive customer experience.
  2. Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand needs, promote ABB's offerings, and provide tailored solutions.
  3. Preparing sales plans using ABB tools, conducting regular reviews, and proposing recovery plans if needed.
  4. Creating value through successful transactions, contracts, and proposals, and communicating delivery, payment, and terms effectively.
  5. Supporting marketing activities and identifying new market opportunities within the designated segment.
  6. Managing administrative sales procedures, supporting data collection and project management, and preparing offers in coordination with relevant departments.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of related experience.
  • Previous sales and account management experience.
  • Familiarity with Sales Force.
  • Willingness to travel 30-35%.
  • Work authorization to work in the US for ABB.
