Job Description :

In accordance with established procedures, policies, and available tools, the Sales Specialist is responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls in a timely and professional manner. The role focuses on maximizing sales opportunities, resolving customer issues, and providing high-quality customer service while proactively seeking new sales through outbound calling. The ideal candidate is highly driven, consistently meets or exceeds targets, thrives on competition and achievement, and is resilient in overcoming rejection.

This is a province-wide, remote (WFH) opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  1. Promote and upsell products and services with each customer contact, process orders.
  2. Answer customer inquiries, offer solutions, and meet/exceed quality and sales targets.
  3. Highlight features and benefits of our products and handle competitive issues confidently.
  4. Retain customers expressing intent to cancel or downgrade services.
  5. Make outbound calls to maximize sales, renew contracts, upsell, and follow up.
  6. Input data accurately for all customer requests.
  7. Resolve billing inquiries and service discrepancies, process refunds with supervisor approval.
  8. Assist with departmental requests and special projects.
  9. Participate in sales training and procedural updates.
  10. Handle escalated customer inquiries efficiently.
  11. Respond to customer questions with soft skills, demonstrating value of our products.
  12. Work to resolve issues related to service downgrades or disconnections, emphasizing product advantages.
  13. Ensure health and safety protocols are followed.
  14. Respond to customer needs promptly, ensuring solutions meet their requirements.
  15. This is a province-wide (Ontario) role with options for permanent home-based or hybrid work.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; post-secondary preferred.
  • 1-3 years of sales and customer service experience, preferably in a call center.
  • Strong communication skills, customer service, and KPI performance.
  • Interpersonal skills, professional etiquette, and presentation.
  • Detail-oriented, problem-solving skills, self-motivated.
  • Experience with inbound/outbound sales, Windows, Google Suite, and knowledge of broadband/telecom industries is a plus.
  • Flexible hours, including shifts in a 24/7 environment.
